Annual gingerbread house tradition

Every year I get the kids a kit to put together a gingerbread house. They always have a blast decorating and eating!!!

Christmas Tree Hunting

We went up to Ashton, Christmas tree hunting. It was an adventure. We all had a great time! There for a minute I thought we'd never agree on a tree. The tree we found was huge. We had to hack about 5 feet off, actually we cut 5 feet off the top and used it for our tree.

The kids were excited of course. Sterling got really sick at school on Friday and didn't get to party and enjoy Halloween at school. He woke up early on Sat and was ready to trick or treat!!!

Hunter was a puppy dog, Sterling was a mean vampire, Jordan was a painter, and last but not least Zachariah was a mailbox. For some reason we didn't get any pics of him in his box??? Joshua just took Hunter around, then shared his candy(that way he gets candy and doesn't have to dress up)Brianna went out with some friends to visit haunted houses. Reed and I and the boys went to our ward trunk or treat and then met up with our neice and newphew and their kids in Idaho Falls. It was fun=)

Pumpkin Carving

The boys all decided they wanted to carve all the pumpkins last night, so thats just what they did. Brianna had too much homework( and I think she thinks she's a little too old for such fun)haha. They had a great time!! And had great results=)

You know you live in Idaho when.........

As I was coming home from work, Iget this picture message on my cell phone of a fawn .....he was in my garage!!I came home and found out that Reed had saved the fawn from the highway of sure death in front of our home. Reed was out by the mailbox and the fawn came right up to him across the road, luckily the truck that went by missed, Reed grabbed the deer and took him to safety(which was our garage) but Reed had some wounds on his face and chest from the poor thing. The deer stayed with us for a night, then Reed and the boys released him in a safer area by the woods and where he could find other deer his kind. Wow, what a crazy thing, the kids loved it, and also the cousins were here so they all got to see a deer, baby deer no less up close.

It's My Birthday and My Cake......

As I just finished up pouring the cake into the pan,I turned around and then looked back--there was Hunter sticking the beater back into the cake dough for more!!! He kept saying "more, More"Then I gave him the bowl he was thrilled=)!!

Happy 11th Birthday Zachariah

We are so proud of Zachariah. He is so ready to get into the new scout group, he even asked for a scout shirt for his birthday.We love you Zachariah!!!=)

Zachariah receives his Arrow of Light

Zachariah received his Arrow of Light and was passed throught to the new scout leader. He is so excited. He already went and passed off his 1st and 2nd class swimming with his group. The good thing about this(for mom and dad)- is we won't have packmeetings to attend for three years.=)(until Sterling turns 8)First break we've had for12 years.

Rigby Homecoming 09

Brianna and her date Zach. They had a fun filled day date. They went skeet shooting, rollerblading,and ate pizza for dinner. Now it's off to the dance. They are in a group with 6 couples. Doesn't she look like Cinderella=)
